Before Littlebigplanet launched held a contest where people had to send in suggestions for costumes. Now, though entries on the official Sony forum posted angry entries (pun intended) where they claim that Sony 'borrowed' some of the non-winning proposals in connection with the new Sackboy costumes that were released for download recently. A spokesman for Sony, however forum that it is all about coincidences. The option would undoubtedly always be there, the Sony release of new costumes as the theme is similar to those that competed, but what happened is coincidences, however. The gang designers responsible for creating new costumes (and so also the last made available), however, were involved in the competition's final stage, when the number had been 10 to the number from each region (Europe, USA and Japan). If these designers have chosen to be inspired by any entries that are not won, they would have contacted the author first, and so is also relevant for future competitions.
